Women also have an important role in music. some researches show that they can play music as good as the men , and we can divide the kinds of them in to some groups : such as ( Lalayi singing , taranehay kar ( work music ) , happiness melodies , story melodies and sad or unhappy melodies .

۱. They use first group when they want to sleep their children it means that they use it until their children sleep. They use it none the less they know that their children don’t understand what they say. But they feel it and become calm & relax.

۲. They use it when they are working or when they are tired of working and most of them have good voice.

۳. They use it when they are happy such as wedding or the other happy ceremonies. Such as for anniversary of the holy person. That the most important of them is for birthday of (imam Ali) in this ceremony, the girls wear white clothes and they sing traditional music & play (daf ) . They this ceremony in khaneghah .

۴. This kind of music consists from love stories it means that the express the matter of love.

۵. it has some kinds :

۱. Court singing: they use it in agriculture.

۲. Stranger singing: they use it in strange places.

۳. desert suiggis: they use it in some places like desert

All these kinds effects on every one.

those researches are con sisted by me and my coworker’s attempt. that it prolonged ۳years he said: we went to many different villages around KERMAN for our project he also told : going to many villages is hard and it has it s own problem but when we were thinking about this that we want to record & keep our IRANian culture alive by this project it became easy for us. In this project we found and recognized many music players and talented people that they were the best in IRAN this led us to continue our attempt. We decided to introduce all kinds of sorna in this essay.

Sorna is one of the best kind of music that people use this when they want to tell story specially sad story .the researches have found one kind of it that it is ۷۰۰۰ years old. In (Bashagard) they also have found another type that it is for (Hakhamaneshi) s era and now, they keep them in the museum of Harandis garden in KERMAN. There are ۴ types of Sorna that ۳ of them are completely different from the other kinds:

In the first kind ۲ sides of it don’t separate from each other . and they make from wood. This kind is like the others and it is usual and you can find it in the other parts of IRAN. You can also find it in (Shahre bablak, Sirjan, Bardsir &,…) the second type call (NarLas) in local Language. The difference between the first type and second one is that ۲ sides of it can separate in spite of the first type and divide۳ to ۶ parts, you can find this type in (Baft, Bam, Jiroft- Ghale ganje &…) the third one is Like the first one but it is Longer (۶۰. cm) you can find it in (Kahnooj, Manoojan&Ghale ganj) the last kind is completely different and you cant find like it all over the world. It means that it doesn’t have and counter part. The body of it, is from glay and you can find it in (Zerand (Banavnt) there are some musical instruments that you can play them with Sorna:

The first kind you can play (Dohol (droms) , Naghareh and Dorak) with the first kind of Sorna. They play Dohol which is play with this kind with Long wood and the body of it makes from wood and it has rope that hanging from the players shoulder. You can also play (Naghareh) with Sorna and the kind of it is depends the geographical. Places for example in (Sirjan) it has the body that makes from glay r mod but the body of them in (shahre babak) make. From copper and the skin of (Naghareh) makes from vow or skin. But the skin of (Dohol) makes from ewe or sheep s skin. The second kind of Sorna has been playing with (Dohol &Ggoreh) both of them have metal body & it has been playing with one wood and one hand. Most of the times the stringers of these instruments do some acrobatics action like move their legs or their body. The wood of it makes from almond tree .the third kind in also has been playing with (Dohol, Tombak, Goreh, & also some times tempo) the lost kind is like the first type.
